Countryfile on Easter Sunday: Daffodils

Another appearance on BBC Countryfile, the most watched factual programme on British TV. This time Sean told the story of Britain’s native wild daffodil, and its fight for survival in Gloucestershire.

Countryfile Winter Special: Winter Cod Fishing

Cold, wet, and hungry. Sean had to fish for his food in Whitby while filming for Countryfile’s Winter Special. Even the hardened fishermen he was with found the conditions difficult. More than 8.5 million people tuned in to watch it.

Countryfile Christmas Special with Rick Stein

Sean picked seasonal Padstow veg and cooked locally caught Hake with Rick Stein, for a very Cornish Christmas lunch, broadcast on one of the most watched programmes on British TV.

Countryfile, BBC One

In October 2015, Sean made his debut on Countryfile, regularly the most watched factual programme on British TV. He told the tragic story of the drowning of Capel Celyn 50 years ago, to create a reservoir for Liverpool. It was rural Wales vs urban England, and the city won. But it galvanised the welsh fight for a voice. Sean caught up with one of Wales’ greatest singer/songwriters, Dafydd Iwan.
